Your view on that particular question depends entirely on the side of the political aisle on which you sit. But one thing is inarguable: He enjoys the distinction of being the columnist most-censored by his own employer. Every few months, and sometimes every few weeks, we hear that his Al-Ahram editorial has been cut. |

BIO: Since he returned to Minnesota from the east coast fifteen years ago, television writer/producer Jeff Stratehas become a noted land conservation advocate. Mr. Strate has also served two terms on the Eden Prairie Human Rights and Diversity Commission and occasionally writes about human rights issues in community news papers. Mr. Strate was one of the War on Poverty's first "soldiers" serving as a teacher in rural Alabama in 1965. He was also a Peace Corps teacher in Uganda just prior to outbreaks of genocide and has a graduate degree in African studies. Mr. Strate began his televison career at University Community Video and KTCA-TV. |
