Fahmy Howeidy is one of Egypt’s most controversial writers. Or: Fahmy Howeidy is one of the nation’s least controversial writers. Your view on that particular question depends entirely on the side of the political aisle on which you sit. But one thing is inarguable: He enjoys the distinction of being the columnist most-censored by his own employer.
